Nothing produces that classic "British" sound like a Marshall amplifier, whether it's a combo or head and cab configuration. Marshall introduced the JCM2000 Dual Super Lead (DSL) series amps in 1997. The all-tube series received almost instant approval and quickly became staples in the the backlines of top acts in all musical genres. Considered by many to be the the go-to rock amp, the continuing demand for Dual Super Lead has led Marshall to introduce the new generation DSL series.
This 100W all-tube, twin-channel beast can produce any classic Marshall sound — past or present. Four ECC83s in the preamp section (in concert with the amp's gain/master volume arrangement) combine with four EL34s in the power amp to provide the volume to blow the roof off any venue in the world. Several upgrades give you even more control over your sound, such as a Resonance control letting you dial in your preferred amount of low-end grunt, as well as studio-grade digital reverb, high and low power settings, and an effects loop. There's even a 2-way footswitch for channel switching and reverb on/off.
